About

ppad hosts its own email, git, jitsi, and docs infrastructure, all of which is declaratively specified as a Nix expression and which runs on an Akamai/Linode VPS located in Singapore. Our Bitcoin and Lightning Network infrastructure is self-hosted on dedicated physical hardware.

Our minimalist open-source cryptography libraries, mostly written in Haskell, are engineered for exceptional security, aesthetics, and ergonomics. Each is extensively tested using e.g. official vectors, Wycheproof vectors, cross-library tests, and property-based/fuzz tests, amongst other methods. They are rigorously benchmarked both in terms of time and allocation, and are careful to maintain constant-time execution, with several achieving best-in-class performance on standard benchmarks.

For high performance and availability, this static website (which compiles in microseconds from hand-written HTML and CSS, and which contains no JavaScript) is served from an AWS S3 bucket and is cached/distributed globally via Cloudfront, with a custom SSL certificate provided by Let's Encrypt. Your browser may have already informed you that a mirror exists as an onion service.
